Head of Creative | Google

It’s bold or never.

Born in Mexico City, raised in Paris and digitalized in Barcelona, I’m currently Head of Creative at Google.

Always being passionate about creativity and obsessed with turning advertising into something that gratifies people, I started my career working several years in Paris doing offline work for agencies like Lowe Lintas, JWT, Publicis and LittleBig. In 2007 I landed in Barcelona where I fell in love with the digital world at DoubleYou, Spain’s leading digital and integrated advertising agency until jumping back to Mexico in 2011 to open its first office in the Americas. And then leading the creative department and the operation of top creative agencies like J. Walter Thompson and Proximity BBDO in Mexico.

Throughout my career I have received +150 different accolades and awards from international festivals such as Cannes, One Show, New York Festivals, FIAP, The FWA, Effie and IAB Mixx, including 8 Grand Prix in different categories in FIAP, El Sol and El Ojo de Iberoamérica, IMÁN, LAUS and Círculo Creativo de Mexico. I had also the privilege to be part of the jury and sometimes president and speaker in top Latam creative festivals including Círculo de Oro, IAB Mixx and Effie (Mexico), el Sol (Spain), el Ojo (Argentina), Desachate (Uruguay), Granada Creativa (Nicaragua) and Wave (Brasil).

With a proven experience in managing large creative and multidisciplinary teams, always being business driven and with a strong technological and innovation oriented strategic thinking, I have the privilege to be considered as a creative referent in the digital and integrated landscape in Mexico. Something that was reinforced by creating the idea which won the first Gold Lion in the Cannes’s Cyber category for Mexico.

Since December 2016, I have also the honor to serve as President of the Círculo Creativo, Mexico’s association of creatives founded in 1989.

Last but not least, I’m a proud board member of the conspiracy to change advertising.
